Member Benefits

Join Us

There are four basic types of membership in ESIN. You can join as a Scholar, a Mentor, a Partner, or an Affiliate.  Read more about membership details and specific benefits for each type by clicking on the links below:

Membership Basics

Unlike other professional associations or networks, ESIN does not require fees or monetary payments to join its basic membership.  There are fees associated with certain services; these fees depend generally on the level of membership one holds in ESIN as a Scholar, Mentor, Partner or Affiliate and the kinds of services that are required.   Regardless of which membership type you choose, we want you to share: your ideas, your perspectives, your resources, and any and all information that might be of service to the network.

More specific membership guidelines can be found in ESIN’s Terms of Membership

Membership Process

Once you've completed your application form it will be submitted to ESIN administrators for review.  After the review, you will be contacted regarding the status of your application. Once you are approved, you will receive an e-mail alerting you that you can gain access to areas of the site most relevant to your type of membership.

Following approval, you should update your profile by entering all of the requisite information that allows other ESIN members to identify who you are and the role you intend to play in the community.   You can make changes to your profile once you log in.  Our system also includes an extensive orientation that introduces you to all of the features of the Virtual Campus and prompts you to change settings and join communities when you're ready!
